Christopher Amaral Eliminated in 18th ($4,422)

First, the cripple hand:
Paul "Eskimo" Clark ({5-Spades}{7-Spades}){8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Christopher Amaral x-x-{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds}-x

On sixth and seventh street, Eskimo bets and Amaral calls. "This guy always gets gin against me," Amaral says. Sure enough, Eskimo shows 4-5-6-7-8. Eskimo has 107,000 and Amaral has 15,500.

**********

Then, the bustout hand:
Amaral x-x-{5-Spades}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Mickey Appleman {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Clubs}-x

On fifth street, Appleman bets and Amaral is all in for his last 5,000. Appleman calls and shows the A-2-3-4-6. He's got 95,000 and Amaral is out in two hands.

Not Mastering the Situation

Men "The Master" Nguyen {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
O'Neil Longson {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

On fourth and fifth street, Men bets and is called. Then it starts to get weird.

On sixth street, Longson bets. Men the Master thinks for a really long time. A really long time. Longson calls the clock and is clearly upset, as Men the Master is soused and is taking a long time on every street, every hand. Then Katja Thater chimes in and also starts berating Men the Master. The floorperson has to step in, and eventually Men the Master times out and is folded. He's down to 50,000 and Longson has 67,000.
