Chip Jett Doubles Up, Then Eliminated

The player UTG raised to 600 and Chip Jett called from the big blind. The flop was {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Jett checked, the UTG player bet 1,000, Jett moved all in for 1475, and he called. Jett held {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} while his opponent showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The turn was the {9-Spades}, the river was the {6-Spades} and Jett doubled to 3,800.

On a subsequent hand, Jett moved all in on an {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop with {K-Spades}{2-Spades} and was called by an opponent holding {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, the river was the {4-Clubs}, and Jett was eliminated.

Eugene Todd's Favorite Hand

A player opens for 600 and is called by two players, including Eugene Todd, before Philippe Boucher in the small blind pushes all-in. Eugene Todd calls, saying "this is my favorite hand." His favorite hand is apparently {10-Spades}{9-Spades} Boucher has {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The flop of {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} gives Boucher top pair, but also gives Todd the flush draw. Like a mantra, Todd repeats "spade baby" until the river delivers the {8-Spades}.

Eugene Todd says, "Sorry kid" to which Boucher responds, "I'm not a kid." "Sorry adult," says Todd.
