Friendly and Slow

Keith Block vs. Mark Muchnik

On the other table, the match between Keith Block and Mark Muchnik is being played at a much slower pace than the Selbst/Schreiber match. The two have been engaging in plenty of friendly banter during the first twenty hands. There has not been any major change in either of their stacks.

Schreiber Strikes First

Vanessa Selbst vs. Dan Schreiber

Taking a page of out of the Cobra Kai handbook (Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy!), Schreiber started out using Selbst's aggressive playing style against her. He won two quick pots from her and increased his stack to 1.78M. Selbst slipped to 780K.

On Hand #1, Selbst opened up for a 30K raise. Schreiber re-raised 55K. Selbst popped him back for 150K. Schreiber moved all in. She went into the tank for a few minutes before she folded.

On Hand #2, Selbst bet 30K on a flop of {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Schreiber called. The turn was the {2-Hearts}. She fired out 125K and he called. They both checked when the {7-Spades} spiked on the river. Schreiber flipped over {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for two pair and Selbst mucked her hand. Schreiber won the pot.
