Joe on the Go

Joe
Joe
Joe Hachem is moving and shaking early, and made a good call on the following hand.

Joe opened for 150, and was called by the button and the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

The big blind checked, Joe bet out 400, and the button folded. The big blind raised to 1,675. Joe tanked for about 3 full minutes. Finally, Joe decides this is it, and moves in for an additional 1,800 over the players raise. The player calls, and shows {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Joe flips over {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and when the turn {2-Spades} comes, Joe fills up and the river {8-Diamonds} does not help his opponent. Joe Hachem is up to 7,600.

Jennifer Tilly Likes the "Turn" of Events

Jennifer Tilly limped in from early position, middle position raised to 275, Mark Seif called, Tilly reraised 950 total, middle position folded and Seif called. The flop came {Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Tilly pushed all-in for 825 and Seif called. Tilly showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Seif turned over {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Tilly was prepared to grab her things and head for the door until the {J-Clubs} came on the turn. Yes! The {6-Clubs} on the river didn't help Seif and Tilly sat back down and began stacking her chips. After the hand, Tilly was back up to 3,900.

Michael Mizrachi Doubles Up

Michael Mizrachi doubled up when he hit a straight on the turn after his opponent had made trip tens on the flop. Mizrachi had {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and his opponent had {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The flop was {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Mizrachi's opponent was sitting good. But, when the {5-Clubs} came on the turn it gave Mizrachi a straight, and his opponent wasn't smiling any more. The {K-Spades} on the river was no help, Mizrachi doubled up and left his opponent crippled.
