Chris Ferguson Doubles Up

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson
Chris "Jesus" Ferguson
Right before the break, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson reraised all-in from the big blind. He was quickly called by the player on the button. Ferguson showed {Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. His opponent had him dominated, however, holding {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. The flop was no help for Ferguson as it came {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The turn card {K-Spades} put Ferguson out in front. The river {10-Spades} gave "Jesus" the winning hand as he doubles up to 7,200 in chips.

Joe Tehan made it 300 to go preflop and Al Horowitz called.

Tehan checked the flop and Horowitz led out for 650. Tehan check raised to 1950 and Horowitz moved all-in. Tehan called and showed pocket queens. Horowitz showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn made a flush for Horowitz, shortstacking Tehan to 2,500 in chips.

Pocket Deuces Goot!

This Guy Calls with 2-2
This Guy Calls with 2-2
Five players limp into a pot, including Marek Kolk, who limps on the button for 200. The small blind goes all in for 7,500. Everyone folds around to Kolk, who insta-calls with {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The small blind flips over {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Three diamonds come on the flop, making it interesting, but Kolk's deuces hold up, and he is at 21,000.

Was There A Shift in the WSOP Universe?

Scott Clements' Lonely Bling
Scott Clements' Lonely Bling
In the last 24 hours, I've noticed a strange phenomenon. Scott Clements, who brings every piece of bling he's ever won to the table is not wearing his bling today. Also, Chris Grigorian is NOT wearing a hat that says "Armenian Express," and Blair Rodman is not wearing a hat at all.

David Bach Takes a Hit

David Bach raised to 600 and got one caller from middle position. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Bach bet 600 and his opponent called. The turn was the {A-Spades}. Bach checked and his opponent checked behind. The river was the {8-Spades} and both players checked again. Bach showed K-Q, but his opponent turned over {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the win.

Bach was down to 2,300 after the hand.
