Wayne McGregor Hangs Tough

Having checked out of his hotel and with his packed bags at the front desk Wayne McGregor may have to change his plans. Starting the day with 6k he has built his stack to over 24k now and is in good shape. Wayne is the founder of "The Alaska Poker Association." The Association hosts fundraisers for local charities and Alaskan business owners have shown great support by donating prizes. With this event's final table being pushed back until tomorrow, he may have to change his plans.

David "Devilfish" Ulliott Eliminated in 51st Place

The Bubble Boys

The final three players eliminated before the bubble burst were Marcel Luske, PLO bracelet winner Alan Smurfit, and Chris Moore. Smurfit and Moore were eliminated on the same hand when their opponent rivered a wheel to scoop the pot. Luske went out when he pushed all in with Q-Q-2-7 and was called by an opponent with A-A-3-7. The aces held for high and the A-3 played for low, and Luske was eliminated.

We are only three spots away from the money. One table is playing seven-handed, even though the others are eight or nine-handed, and to protest the floor's insistence that they remain that way instead of having another player moved in, one player has started deliberately stalling on every hand. The clock has been called on him three separate times (once by George Danzer) and he's been warned that if it happens again, he'll incur a penalty.
