Emil Patel Doubles Through Ram Vaswani

Emil Patel moved all in for 108K from early position. Vaswani, who was in the big blind, pondered for just a moment before calling. The players showed...

Vaswani: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Patel caught up quickly when the flop came {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. The turn and river were blanks for Vaswani. Patel doubled up to about 240K. Vaswani now sits with 285K.

Danny Noam Makes a Big Laydown

One player limped in early position as did Danny Noam on the button. Bill Gazes called from the small blind and Ram Vaswani exercised his big blind option by raising to 50K total. The early-position player passed, Noam made the call and Gazes threw his hand away. It was heads-up to the flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Vaswani bet 80K and Noam went into the tank. Noam thought for several minutes and then called the clock on himself. Halfway through the countdown Noam folded his hand, but tossed in the {9-Clubs} face-up. Vaswani showed no emotion as he dragged the pot. Noam stepped away from the table momentarily to regroup.

Tony G Doubles Up

Tony G pushed from the small blind and Phil Galfond called.

Tony G: {7-Spades}{3-Spades}
Galfond: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The flop was {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Tony G took the lead. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river was the {9-Diamonds}. Tony G's hand held up. He doubled up and increased his stack to 160K.

Keith Lehr Doubles Through Emil Patel

Keith Lehr open raised all in for 154K from under the gun. Action folded to Emil Patel on the button who reraised all in for about 265K. The blinds folded and the players turned up their hands.

Lehr: {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Patel: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Lehr said "I need a nine." The flop came {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} which gave Lehr the lead in the hand. The {7-Diamonds} gave Patel a flush draw but the {6-Clubs} missed him and Keith Lehr took down the pot. Lehr doubled to around 320K. Patel is down to 110K.
