Controversy at David Levi's Table

It seems David Levi three-bet a hand and then stood up and stepped a little too close to a "National Enquirer" article that players were looking at over at Thor Hansen and Andy Black's table. Levi's hand was immediately declared dead. Levi got upset and called the floor over. He was angry because he had already acted on the hand before standing up.

The first floorman got on the phone to call his boss, who stopped by with two or three other guys. The boss gave the final word that the hand was dead, and even brought over a sheet of rules to back him up. Levi was still upset as he feels this rule has not been applied consistently throughout the series. Play resumed, but not before Thor Hansen gave a coda to the whole thing: "Next time you get up to look at the article -- bring your chair with you!"

Shuffle Up and Deal!

The management had decided to color up players' chips during the break, hence the delay. It appears they waited for players to return, then colored up for 15 minutes. Play has now restarted.
