A Fitting Nickname

Action folded to a middle position player who raised to 2,000. The button called, as did Jordan "iMsoLucky0" Morgan from the big blind. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Morgan checked, and the initial raiser bet 6,300. The button tossed his hand in and Morgan announced a raise. Morgan's raise was enough to put his opponent all in and did just that. The players showed...

Morgan: {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The turn card was gin for Morgan, the {5-Clubs} giving him four of a kind. There was no miracle on the river and Morgan is now at a solid 35,000 chips.

Barry Greenstein Eliminated by Marco Traniello

Traniello and Greenstein
Traniello and Greenstein
On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Barry Greenstein was all in and Marco Traniello called. Greenstein had A-J-10-4 for a double gutshot while Traniello flipped over {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and the river was the {K-Spades}. Traniello won with a full house as Greenstein headed to the rail.

As always, Greenstein took the time to sign a copy of his book "Ace on the River" for the player who busted him. He shook hands with Traniello before he headed to the rail.

Dan Harmentz Eliminated

Four players including Dan Harmentz and John Juanda limped to a flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Everyone checked to Harmentz, who bet 3,200, John Juanda check-raised Harmentz all in from the big blind, the two limpers between them folded and after a long think, Harmentz called.

Juanda turned over {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for the nut flush. Once Harmentz saw Juanda's hand he instantly mucked. The turn was a blank, and the river was a jack, making Juanda a full house and eliminating Harmentz.

Ted Forrest Sends Another One Home

The board read {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. There was a player all-in and Ted Forrest was heads up with another player on the side. Forrest bet 5,000 on the river and his opponent folded. Ted flipped up his hand to make claim to the main pot. He showed {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} for nines full of threes. The all-in player mucked and casually exited the tournament area. Forrest is very much in the mix, now working with 37,000.

Humberto Brenes Has Been Eliminated

Humberto Brenes joins the list of those recently departed when he was just eliminated by Patrik Antonius. The pot was raised preflop and the flop came down {J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Brenes moved all in for his remaining 28,400. Antonius went into the tank for quite a bit before finally calling. The players showed...

Brenes: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Antonius: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Brenes got no help and Antonius's flush was enough to win him the pot and send Brenes to the rail.

Todd Brunson Likes the Nut Flush

The turn was the {5-Hearts}. The small blind checked, the EP player checked, Brunson bet 5,000, the small blind called and the EP player folded. The river was the {6-Hearts}. The small blind checked, Brunson bet 6,000 and the small blind called.

Brunson showed {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for the nut flush. The small blind turned over {4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a smaller flush and Brunson dragged the pot.

Andy Black Eliminated; Almost Comes to Blows

Andy Black was all in with a short stack. Huckleberry Seed called.

Black: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Seed: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river was {2-Diamonds}. Seed won with a nut flush. Black was busted by Seed. Before he left the table, Davood Mehrmand taunted Black and said, "See you later."

Black and Mehrmand had been jawing over the last two hours and the they almost came to blows. The floor had to be called over to calm Black down. At one point he had his arm cocked back, as if to drop Davood Mehrmand.
