Zeidman Sends One Packing

Just before the last level of Hold'em came to an end, high-stakes poker player Cory Zeidman eliminated a player from the field, taking control of the hand after the flop came 7-6-5.

Zeidman's opponent led out with a bet on the flop and Cory raised him, making it 300 to go; his opponent called.

The turn brought an eight, after which Cory bet and his opponent called again. A queen fell on the river and Cory made one last bet which put his opponent all in for his last 50; his opponent made the call.

At the showdown, Cory turned over A-8 for a pair of eights, which was good enough to take down the pot, as his opponent mucked his cards.

After the hand, Zeidman stacked up 3,100 chips.
