Kim Watching Last Year's WSOP While Playing In This Year's

A couple of the big screen TVs here in the Amazon Room are broadcasting reruns of last year's WSOP Main Event. As many of you may remember, Doug Kim reached the final table last year and finished in seventh place, collecting a $2,391,520 payday.

One of our reporters spotted Kim watching the broadcast at the exact moment they showed his bust-out hand. Kim and fellow table mates had a good laugh about the irony of the situation. Currently sitting on approximately 80,000 in chips, Kim is in good shape to make a run at Day 2.

Just before the break David Levi got all of his chips in preflop with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} against Vicky Coren's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and David survives into the last level of the day.

The player under the gun raised to 2,500. Action folded around to Joe Sebok in the cutoff seat, who wasted little time pushing his stack of 19,000 towards the center. The initial raiser made the call. The players showed...

Sebok: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Sebok's hand triumphed as the board filled out {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Sebok is now in command of a stack of 38,000.
