Family Rule?

Todd Brunson was moved to Doyle Brunson's table and Brunson called the floor over. He asked if there was a "family rule." They told him that rule only applies to the start of a tournament where family members can request a table change in order to avoid playing together.

David Williams Crippled

David Williams
David Williams
David Williams lost most of his stack in two decisive hands.

Hand 1: Mike Sexton raised 6K and Williams called. The flop was J-7-7. Sexton fired out 12K and Williams re-raised 40K. Sexton went into the tank before moving all in for 120K. Williams said, "You win. You win."

Williams mucked and Sexton flashed A-A , saying "I thought he was hijacking me."

Williams slipped to 155K while Sexton increased his stack to 240K.

Hand 2: Larry Jonson flopped a set with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} on a board of {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. When the {K-Clubs} fell on the turn, Jonson bet 32K and Williams raised the size of the pot. Jonson re-raised the pot and Williams called with {J-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Jonson's hand held up and he won a 250K pot as Williams slipped down to 3,200.
