Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert
Nenad Medic has the button in Seat 8. Kathy Liebert raises to 150,000 from the small blind, Andy Bloch raises an additional 95,000, putting Liebert all in and she makes the call.

Liebert: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Bloch: {Q-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The flop is {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}, pairing Liebert's ace. The turn is the {6-Diamonds}, the river is the {9-Hearts}, and Liebert doubles up to 465,000.

Hand #75 - Andy Bloch

Kathy Liebert has the button in Seat 9. Andy Bloch calls from the small blind and Mike Sexton checks. The flop is {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and both players check. The turn is the {4-Diamonds}. Bloch bets 100,000, Sexton folds, and Bloch wins the pot.

Hand #76 - Kathy Liebert Doubles Through Nenad Medic

Andy Bloch has the button in Seat 5. Kathy Liebert raises to 175,000, Nenad Medic raises to 375,000, and Liebert calls all in.

Liebert: {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Medic: {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Liebert's supporters start calling for a king, but the flop is {Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The turn is the {5-Clubs}, but the river is the {10-Spades}, and Liebert jumps out of her chair as her miracle card falls. Bring the Noise

So much for the joint being quiet. It was Nenad Medic's flopped flush that gave the crowd voice -- when the dealer spread those three spades there was a collective "Whoa!!!" that revved everyone up. With every all-in the crowd has stood as one and leaned close, and when Kathy Liebert spiked that ten to save her tournament life there were scores of raised fists and a lot of shouting from her sizable group of supporters. Still not an empty seat in the house.
