The Theory of Special Relativity At Work?

When you consider all the problems that could arise when hosting a massive event like the World Series of Poker, a strange issue continues to be a minor irritant. The tournament clocks displayed on flat-screen monitors throughout the Amazon Room...don't know how to tell time. For some bizarre reason the digital clocks are ticking away a fraction of a second faster than they should. Several officials spent the break timing the clock and it's still wrong.

So, when the clock comes close to expiring they'll be adding an additional four minutes to keep us on an even temporal keel. There are still tech people counting down the clocks with a stopwatch and trying to solve the riddle. Is Albert Einstein in the house?
