The Calm Before the Storm

As the final table line-up of the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em is announced behind me, we quietly await the arrival of the remaining players in Day 2's $2,500 Omaha/seven-card stud hi-lo event, all of whom will soon be frequenting what is currently the most serene quadrant of the Amazon Room.

When the starting whistle blows and the cards are flung into the air, players to keep a close eye may well be current chip leader Jordan Rich, WSOPE bracelet winner Dario Alioto and double bracelet winner Scott Clements.
