Newhouse Doubles with 7-3 Off

A short-stacked Mark Newhouse got the remainder of his chips into the pot holding {7-Hearts} {3-Clubs} on a {6-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} board. A single opponent gave him action with an offsuit K-10 and a blank on the river locked things up for Newhouse, who now sits with just under 2,000 in chips.

Poker Brat Returns, Bearing Gifts

Phil Hellmuth has finally returned to his table and we just got word that he ordered a round of drinks for everyone at his table. Not just any drinks, mind you -- we're talking about limited edition Milwaukee's Best Light cans with Phil's picture plastered on them. Not only did he pay for the drinks, but Phil also offered to personally sign each can.

Negreanu Continues to Win

Daniel Negreanu decided to build the pot preflop and raised in late position with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. He was called by the big blind with {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The flop came {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} and the big blind checked to Negreanu. Negreanu bet and was called. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the big blind led out, betting into Negreanu. "What? I don't think that helped you." Negreanu exclaimed, and called. The river was the {4-Spades} and again the big blind fired into Negreanu. After some thought and a close read, Negreanu made the call with Ace high and his opponent conceded.

Vahedi Not Scared of Flush

After the flop came {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} Vahedi led out with a bet of 100. His opponent raised and Vahedi made it three bets. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and again Vahedi fired away. His opponent called and the river brought the {2-Hearts}. The hearts did not phase Vahedi as he bet again on the river and was called. At showdown Vahedi tabled {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and took down a nice pot, bringing his chip count to 6200.

Leif Force had all his chips in the pot with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} against Marco Traniello's {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} when the board came {K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}. The turn card was the {5-Clubs}, a good card for Traniello. Lastly the {A-Spades} hit the river and Force was eliminated by Traniello's aces.

Lindgren Bounds Back

Erick Lindgren has bounced back in a big way after recently taking down a three-way pot with a full house, improving his chip stack from 1,500 to ~3,550.

On a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {8-Hearts} , the small blind led out with a 100 bet and three players -- Lindgren one of them -- made the call. The {8-Clubs} popped off on the turn and the small blind passed the first option to Lindgren who fired a 200 bullet. He was called by both the small blind and an opponent in middle position.

The {Q-Hearts} was the last card to fall and again, the action went check, bet (Lindgren), call, call.

At the showdown, Lindgren tabled {8-Spades} {7-Clubs} for queens full of eights and his opponents all mucked.

Bonomo No Mo'

The turn the {A-Hearts} and all players checked. The river showed the seemingly safe {7-Clubs} for Bonomo's {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. However, the show down revealed the {7-Clubs} gave another player two pair, fives and sevens.
