Geyer Gone

Marco Mills ({7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}), who triumphed in the marathon bout from round one, is proving his stamina is in good stead by disposing of Richard Geyer (Qx)(Jx). After a raise and a call preflop, both players checked the {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts} flop before initial aggressor Mills bet out 3,500 on the {A-Clubs} turn. Geyer raised and Mills called.

On the {J-Clubs} river, the chips inevitably flew in, Marco checking, Richard pushing, and Marco making the call. On their backs and Mills has his man beat in what is somewhat of a cooler, the cruel turn giving Geyer the straight, but Mills the flush draw which duly arrived.

Whilst Geyer hits the sidelines, Geyer breaks the half century mark with 50,000 in chips.
