Matusow Rising

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow is pumped up. He won another pot after raising to 100,000 from the button and being called by Jeff Lisandro in the big blind. Both players drew one card. After the draw, Lisandro checked to Matusow, who bet 150,000. Lisandro called, but couldn't beat Matusow's 10-7.

On the very next hand, Barry Greenstein raised to 100,000 and Matusow moved in for the fourth time since we got back from dinner. Greenstein laid it down, but it was another six-figure pot for Matusow. He is now over 1 million in chips.

Lisandro and Greenstein Square Off

Barry Greenstein raised to 100,000 from the button. Jeffrey Lisandro called from the small blind and Mike Matusow passed from the big blind.

Lisandro drew one card and Greenstein took two. Lisandro was first to act after the draw and he led out for 100,000, prompting a quick fold from Greenstein.

Matusow Comes Out Swinging

Three hands back from the dinner break, and Mike Matusow has moved in three times, twice over the top of raises. Nobody called. Two times Matusow showed pat hands - a nine, and a ten. In three hands, he has chipped up from about 400,000 to over 700,000.
