Ketteringham's Power Play

From under the gun, Mark Ketteringham raised to 1,400. A player in middle position reraised to 4,400. Action folded back to Ketteringham who called.

Ketteringham checked a {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and then called a bet of 5,000. The turn came {K-Diamonds} and Ketteringham again checked. When the middle-position player bet 6,000, Ketteringham shoved for his remaining 14,500. His opponent quietly folded and Ketteringham scooped a big pot. His stack currently sits at approximately 40,000.

Levi Dives in Three-Way All-In

Nicolas Levi has taken a huge hit in a three-way pot just prior to the dinner break. Levi held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} but was up against {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Levi is left with nothing but regrets as the short stack triples up and the third player collects the side pot.

Levi, who once wielded a big stack earlier today, heads to the dinner break with only around 16,000 in chips.

Light at the End of the Tunnel

According to Harrah's staff, after the dinner break, play will continue until we get to 225 players or we complete four levels. At the rate players are being eliminated, chances are we will reach 225 players before the end of four levels.

Levi Loves the Action

Nicolas Levi has been creating plenty of action on a table directly in front of our blogging crew here in the Amazon Room. In a hand just following the break, he was able to eliminate a player when his {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} held against a short-stacked opponent's {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

Shortly after, Levi was at it again, calling down three streets of betting in a big pot on a board of {8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. His opponent flipped {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for top two pair which was good to collect a healthy pot, leaving Levi back on around 16,000 in chips.

Griffin Eliminates Another

Gavin Griffin

On a flop of {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, Gavin Griffin quickly called a player's all in. His opponent turned over {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for mid-pair, while Griffin turned over {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. His opponent received no help on the turn or river and was eliminated, leaving Griffin with a hefty 62,500 in chips.
