Jennifer Harman Eliminated
Jennifer Harman was just eliminated when -- despite getting in her money in good with {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} against the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} of her opponent -- four clubs hit the board giving her opponent the winning flush and sending Harman to the rail just a few minutes shy of the dinner break.

John Monnette Eliminated

A player in the hijack seat led out for 1,075 preflop and John Monnette, on the button, raised to 3,225. The hijack reraised and put Monnette all in and Monnette made the call. Monnette turned over {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, while his opponent turned over a pair of bullets. Although Monnette was able to flop a nine, he wasn't able to catch up by the river and was sent to the rail.

An early-position player raised all in to 5,325, followed by a reraise all in to 6,500 from the player on the button. Isabelle Mercier was in the small blind and called. She had both players covered.

Mercier held {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. The button player held {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}, and the early-position player held {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The board helped neither player and Isabelle Mercier is now up to approximately 25,000.

Tempers Flare

Isabelle Mercier has been the source of quite a commotion on Blue #6 over the last half-hour. She has been acting erratically and has been involved in several disagreements with her tablemates.

Most recently, Mark Vos raised to 1,200 in a hand. Before the action reached Mercier, she said, "I think I have to raise." However, when the action got to her she just called. A player yet to act in the hand wanted her to be required to put in a raise. A floorperson was called, who ruled that Mercier had declared a raise and must raise to at least 2,000 (which she did). When the action got back to Vos, who had Mercier covered, he reraised all in. Mercier knocked several stacks of chips over, said, "That must be a bad sign," and folded.

She unsteadily departed the Amazon Room for dinner about five minutes before the dinner break was called.

Sebok Wins a Nice Pot Before Break

On a board of {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, Joe Sebok checked to an opponent in the big blind. His opponent bet 1,300 and Sebok raised to 5,300. His opponent reraised all in and Sebok called showing {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}. His opponent showed {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The river missed both players and Sebok moves up to around 20,000 in chips.

Tran Misses

Preflop, from the hijack, Kenny Tran led out for 1,200 and was called by a player in the cutoff. The flop came {4-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Tran led out against for 1,300. His opponent called and the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Tran fired again for 2,400 and again his opponent called. The {5-Spades} fell on the river and both players checked, with Tran turning over 7-5 and his opponent showing pocket eights.
