An Interesting Announcement from the Floor Staff

In addition to the bracelet events that occur during the World Series of Poker, there are also tournaments held every night that players can take a shot at to build their bankrolls. The tournaments do not award bracelets, but they do award cold, hard cash.

An announcement was just made that, in addition to cash prizes, players can also earn Player of the Year points for various different Player of the Year races, not including the WSOP Player of the Year. It will be interesting to see if this drums up any additional interest in the evening tournaments.
