Action-Packed Table

Gabe Costner opens the pot under the gun, raising to 2,200. Action folds around to the player in the cutoff who makes a reraise to 6,000. The button folds, but the small blind calls all in for his last 1,925. "Moto" Mabuchi, sitting in the big blind, intensifies the action further, shoving all in with approximately 50,000 in his stack. Gabe Costner folds, but the cutoff player is not so quick to act.

He tanks for several minutes, trying to engage Mabuchi in conversation.

"Do you have a pair?" he asks.

Mabuchi flatly states, "Call and you'll see."

Eventually, the player folds, and the short-stacked small blind is the only one at risk, holding {3-Spades}
