Chuck Sklar Doubles Through Scott Freeman

Under the gun Scott Freeman raised to 31,000 and Chuck Sklar moved all in from the big blind for his last 160,000. Freeman made the call with {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} to Sklar's {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}. The {Q-Spades} {10-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} flop gave Freeman a gutshot straight draw to go with his overcards but the {6-Clubs} and {7-Diamonds} that followed didn't help his hand and Sklar doubled to 345,000. Freeman saw his stack fall to a similar 355,000.

Jon Van Fleet Doubles Up

Shortly after he was crippled by Anders Henriksson, Jon Van Fleet doubled through Adam Geyer. Van Fleet moved all in under the gun for his last 69,000 and Adam Geyer called. His {4-Clubs} {4-Hearts} led Van Fleet's {A-Clubs} {2-Clubs} , but the {A-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} flop gave Van Fleet the ace he needed and the {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} the rest of the way gave him the hand. He doubled to 140,000.

Anders Henriksson Doubles Through Jon Van Fleet

Under the gun Anders Henriksson raised to 33,000 and Jon Van Fleet reraised to 100,000. Henriksson moved all in, Van Fleet called to find that his {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} had run into the {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} of Henriksson. The {7-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {2-Clubs} flop helped neither player, the {K-Clubs} on the turn locked the hand up for Henriksson, and the {Q-Clubs} on the river was just a little unnecessary cruelty. Van Fleet was left with just 69,000 while Henriksson doubled to 460,000.

Plans for Tomorrow?

Scott Seiver opened for 30,000 and Michael Mizrachi raised to 105,000. Ben Sprengers then reraised from the big blind to 300,000, leaving him just 100,000 behind. Seiver folded and Mizrachi was left to think about what to do. He asked if Sprengers would show, and got zero response.

Just then there was just an announcement that there are just a handful of spots open for tomorrow's $10,000 Heads-Up World Championship. Mizrachi laughed and said if he called and lost he'd still have time to play the heads-up tournament tomorrow.

He asked Sprengers again if he'd say what his hand was, and this time Sprengers said, "Yes -- but only after play ends today." Mizrachi mucked his hand and Sprengers collected a sizable pot.

Rajesh Vohra Eliminates Joe Monro

Under the gun Joe Monro raised to 29,000 and Rajesh Vohra called in the small blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, Vohra checked and Monro bet 65,000. Vohra then min-raised to 130,000 and Monro moved all in. Vohra nearly beat him into the pot and turned over {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} for the nut flush to Monro's {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn sealed Monro's fate and he was eliminated in 15th place. That pot pushed Vohra up to 975,000.
