Andras Karkus Eliminated

From early position, Stephen McKinney opened with a raise, and Andras Karkus reraised from the button. McKinney called, and the two men watched the flop bring {6-Spades} {K-Hearts} {9-Spades}.

Action was checked over to Karkus, who moved all in for his last 17,000. McKinney made the call with {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. Karkus showed down the big overpair, {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}.

Trouble found Karkus straight away on the turn though, as the {10-Spades} made his opponent a straight, and left him drawing dead. The river was an unimportant {K-Diamonds}, and McKinney raked in a big pot to take the presumed chip lead with 85,000.

Andras Karkus, meanwhile, has exited to try again some other day.
