Olive the Chips

Kory Mitchell may be relying on a little more than his cards to propel him to the final table. We recently took note of an unusual trinket he is using to cap his cards and chip stack. From our vantage point, it looked very much like a cocktail olive, the kind you'd find in a martini. When we asked about it, Mitchell gave us the story.

The item is actually a plastic olive, given to him by his girlfriend. It has the word "you" written on it, and if you think it through, perhaps you can work out the tongue-in-cheek meaning.
