Hand #27 - Minieri

Song button-raises to 55,000, and Minieri calls from the big blind

{6-Spades} {6-Clubs} {4-Hearts} -- check, check

Turn: {5-Diamonds}

Now Minieri bets out 115,000, and Song calls, after a moment's pause.

River: {K-Hearts}

Minieri fires out another 245,000. Song takes longer over his decision this time, rubbing his face for a while with an expression of consternation. At last he folds to applause from Minieri's rather loud railers.

Hand #26 - Minieri

Dario Minieri raises it to 65,000 from under-the-gun. Kevin Song makes the call.

{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Both players check.

Turn = {6-Clubs}

Song checks, Minieri bets 150,000, Kevin calls.

River = {Q-Hearts}

Song checks again, Minieri bets 300,000, Song folds.

Hand #25 - Song

Filtz raises to 45,000 utg and it folds around to Song, who makes it 195,000 from the big blind. Eventually Filtz calls.

Flop: {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}

After a pause, Song bets out 300,000, his face obscured underneath his Korean Air baseball cap. Filtz looks rather irked, and retreats into the tank. After some time, during which his expression slowly turns to one of resignation, Filtz folds.

"Gutshot?" suggests Minieri to Song. "Kings? Is it?" There is no response from Song.

Hand #24 - Minieri

The action folds round to Dario Minieri who makes it 70,000 from the small blind. Seth Fischer makes the call from the big.

{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Like an incognito celebrity with his scarf hoisted up and the light beaming down on his Terminator shades, Minieri bets out 100,000. Again, Fischer makes the call.

Turn = {3-Spades}

Minieri checks, Fischer checks behind.

River = {3-Clubs}

Minieri opts to lead out with a bet of 250,000, thus making the pot worth 602,000.

Fischer ups his shades to his forehead and releases a slight grimace, before making what appears to be a reluctant call.

"Aces," announces Minieri without hesitation.

Fischer reveals {K-?}{K-?}, but the cowboys aren't good enough, ultimately desaddled by Minieri's superior {A-?}{5-?}

Hand #22 - Filtz

Kevin Song and Justin Filtz see a {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Diamonds} flop from the blinds.

Song bets out 27,000, Filtz calls.

Turn = {3-Diamonds}

Song, his cap shodowing his face, checks, as does Filtz.

River = {Q-Diamonds}

Song checks, and so does Filtz, albeit after a dwell.

Filtz shows {10-?}{5-?}, which is good enough to take the pot.

Hand #21 - Minieri

Now Minieri makes it a very slightly larger 65,000, and this time he gets a caller in the form of Fischer on the small blind.

{4-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}

Fischer checks to Minieri, who bets 107,000. Fischer gives it up, and Minieri takes it down.

Hand #19 - John O'Shea Eliminated in Fifth ($98,923)

John O'Shea
John O'Shea
Seth Fischer bumps it up to 55,000 from early position and Song calls, John O'Shea calls from the big blind.

{5-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades}

O'Shea checks, but Fischer is less accommodating, continue betting for 110,000.

Although Song swiftly sidesteps out of the way, O'Shea pauses momentarily before pushing all in!

Fischer calls without hesitation.

O'Shea = {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Fischer = {A-Spades}{9-Spades}

Turn = {A-Clubs}

River = {Q-Diamonds}

As Fischer scoops the pot, O'Shea exits to a nice round of applause and joins his fellow countrymen in the audience.
