Alon Shahar Eliminated

Alon Shahar
Alon Shahar
Dario Minieri has become the first player to break that one million mark after dashing the hopes of onetime chip leader Alon Shahar.

With Minieri raising it up to 35,000 from the button, Shahar made the call from the small blind leading to both players seeing a {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop.

Shahar bet out 70,000, Minieri made it 220,000 and Shahar pushed all in for just over 300,000. Minieri called.

Minieri = {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Shahar = {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Turn = {2-Spades}

River = {Q-Spades}

Minieri is now on 1,200,000.
