No Chop for Chainsaw

Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon Elizabeth
We pick up the action on fourth street, where Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler makes a bet showing {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts}. Shannon Elizabeth is his only opponent, and she makes the call with her {3-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}. On fifth, Elizabeth draws the {7-Spades}, and she bets and is called by Kessler and his {6-Spades}. Sixth street brings the {8-Hearts} for Kessler, and he leads this time with a bet. Elizabeth calls with the {4-Clubs}. Both players check on seventh street.

Kessler: (X) (X) {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Spades} {8-Hearts} (X)
Elizabeth: {A-Spades} {4-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Clubs} {5-Spades}

Shannon Elizabeth's pair of fours takes the high pot, and her seven-five low is good enough to win her the other half as well.

Daniel Negreanu: (X) (X) {5-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {3-Spades} (X)
Brad Booth: (X) (X) {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} (X)

Negreanu completed and Booth called on third. On fourth, Booth bet and Negreanu called. On fifth, when Negreanu paired his king, he bet and Booth called. Booth then bet when he showed four cards to a straight on sixth.

On seventh, Negreanu checked dark and Booth bet. Negreanu raised and then Booth made it three bets. Negreanu called.

Negreanu: ({8-Diamonds}) ({7-Diamonds}) ({6-Hearts}) {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {3-Spades}
Booth: ({K-Spades}) ({9-Diamonds}) ({4-Diamonds}) {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}

Negreanu commented when the hands were shown, "Booth is a retard."

Booth then said, "It was an advanced play."

Laughing, Negreanu replied, "Whatever, you're a retard."

Negreanu scooped half the pot with a low and Booth got the other half with the high.
