Don't Ask Why

After losing that hand to Mark Vos, a short-stacked Joe Hachem got his last 3,000 or so in with 8-7-6-6 on a flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. His opponent showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades}-x-x.

The turn {7-Spades} and river {5-Spades} gave Hachem's opponent a runner-runner flush, and Hachem was done.

"Why do I get punished like this?" asked Hachem as he got up. "How bad can you run, Joe?" chimed Eli Elezra from a nearby table.
