Hand #53-- Justin Wald

Kanter raised to 65,000 and Wald moved all in from the big blind for 447,000. Kanter counted out his chips and stood up from his chair to look over the situation before choosing to fold.

Hand #54-- Justin Wald

Wong limped on the button and Wald and Hougaard called from the blinds. The flop came {3-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}, it was checked around and the turn was the {4-Clubs}. Wald bet 125,000, Hougaard mucked, and Wong did the same.

Hand #55-- Aaron Kanter Doubles Through Jesper Hougaard

Aaron Kanter
Aaron Kanter
It was folded around to Hougaard in the small blind, and after asking Kanter how much he had left chose to move all in. Kanter quickly called and showed {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} to Hougaard's {K-Clubs} {5-Clubs}.

The flop came {A-Clubs} {8-Spades} {3-Clubs}, giving Jesper a flush draw. The turn was the {A-Hearts}, bringing no help, and on the river the {6-Spades} fell giving Kanter the double-up.

Hand #57-- Cody Slaubaugh

Slaubaugh called in the small blind and Middleton checked. The flop came {A-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, both checked, the turn was the {7-Hearts}, Slaubaugh bet 50,000 and Middleton called. The river was the {4-Clubs}, Cody bet 70,000 and with very few chips behind Doug chose to fold.

Hand #59-- Doug Middleton Doubles through Justin Wald

Slaubaugh raised to 77,000 and Middleton moved all in for 150,000. Justin Wald then announced he was all in, and Slaubaugh took off his sunglasses and gave it some thought before folding.

Middleton held {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs} to Wald's {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} and when the flop came {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {7-Spades}, giving Doug top pair and Justin a gutshot draw. The turn was the {9-Clubs}, the river the {5-Spades}, and Doug doubled up.

Judging from Slaubaugh's reaction and some comments after the hand, had Wald not moved all in Cody would have called and had Middleton's ace dominated.

Hand #60-- Justin Wald Has Been Eliminated (Sixth Place, $140,286)

Justin Wald
Justin Wald
Wong limped on the button and Wald and Hougaard checked in the blinds. The flop came {J-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, Wald bet 50,000, Hougaard called, and Wong did the same. The {K-Diamonds} fell on the turn, it was checked around. The {5-Clubs} hit on the river. Wald moved all in, Jesper mucked, and Wong called. Danny turned over two diamonds (we didn't learn which ones) for the flush to beat Justin Wald's trip jacks with Q-J. Wald finishes in sixth place.
