Chan Makes Boat

Johnny Chan
Johnny Chan
On a flop of {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} Mel Judah checked from the big blind to Johnny Chan who bet out from middle position. Men "The Master" Nguyen called from the button, as did Judah.

The turn landed the {2-Spades} and again it was checked to Chan who bet out. Nguyen called before Judah check-raised. Chan then three-bet with Nguyen and Judah both flat-calling.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Chan fired again with both opponents making the call.

Chan showed {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a full house for the high while Nguyen flipped {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the low, with Judah left to simply toss his cards into the muck.

Chan is now up to 44,000 in chips, Nguyen is on 43,000, while Judah slips to 30,000.
