Matusow Already Talking

The floorman just informed our players about the break schedule. In two levels we will have a 20-minute break as normal. Chances are we will go to dinner break once we reach the final table. Mike Matusow spoke up and said, "Don't worry, we will be to the final table in 10 minutes once I get done with these guys."

Players Taking Their Seats

The players are starting to take their seats and unbag their chips in preparation of a big day ahead. They will be out to catch Ram Vaswani, who holds the overnight chip lead, but with multiple WSOP bracelet winners in the field, things won't be easy as we battle it right through until we crown a champion.

The action will be underway in a few minutes, so stay tuned to PokerNews.com for all of the action.

We Will Have a World Champ Today

"Don't take my picture, kid"
"Don't take my picture, kid"
The World Championship of Omaha hi-lo will restart at 3pm today with 18 players making it through from day two. It may prove to be a long day, but at the end of it, someone will emerge victorious.

The chip leader is Ram Vaswani. As one would expect in a $10,000 buy in event, many name players are chasing Vaswani, and will try to chop and quarter the Hendon Mobster to elimination. Those still alive include 2008 Deuce to Seven Champ Mike Matusow, Chau Giang, David Benyamine, and one time WSOP cashes king Berry Johnston, among others. The chip counts and seat assignments are:

Table 14

1 Danny Dang 257,000
2 Stuart Paterson 96,000
3 Eugene Katchalov 252,000
4 Chau Giang 384,000
5 Shun Uchida 134,000
6 Pat Pezzin 65,000
7 David Benyamine 378,000
8 Ram Vaswani 569,000
9 Toto Leonidas 269,000

Table 15

1 Brent Carter 114,000
2 Jason Gray 347,000
3 Berry Johnston 338,000
4 Mike Matusow 396,000

6 Greg Jamison 208,000
7 Hieu "Tony" Ma 319,000

Action resumes at 3pm today. See you then!
