Big Battle

No-Limit Hold'em:

This hand occurred just moments before the players broke, and it has been the talk of the railbirds for several minutes now.

Jonathan Tamayo drew a seat change before the break to keep the tables balanced. He moved over to the table of Nick Binger, putting the two big stacks within striking distance of each other.

It took no time at all for them to settle in and tangle with each other. On the very first hand at his new table, Tamayo saw Binger open for a raise in middle position. When it folded back around to Tamayo in the small blind, he reraised to 30,000. Binger put out a third raise, making it approximately 40,000 more to call. Tamayo readied himself and shoved his whole stack in, more than 300,000 against the only player who can bust him. Binger seemed flustered, and he mucked his cards, shipping a huge chunk of his stack over to Tamayo without even seeing a flop. After the little battle, Tamayo has taken over the chip lead at 370,000 and knocked Binger down to 265,000.
