Martin Chips Away

When we started heads up, Martin Klaser had a 3:1 chiplead over Casey Kastle. In the first four hands, Martin raised preflop twice to take it down, was given a walk once, and let Casey take a walk once as well.

On the fifth hand, Martin turned a flush, but didn't bet out until the river where he picked up 90,000 off Castle.

Interesting Note

For those of you who are curious, Casey Kastle has eliminated four of the players lost thus far, while Martin Klaser eliminated the other three. Coincidence that these are the two left heads up?

Michael Fetter Eliminated - 3rd Place ($83,538)

Michael Fetter
Michael Fetter
Michael Fetter, with a shortstack, was all in preflop against Martin Klaser. Klaser held {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} while Fetter was looking for high cards holding {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. The board ran {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {7-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} to give Klaser trips while Fetter was left with two pair. Klaser was quite excited, jumping and shaking hands with his fans in the crowd, while Fetter politely shook his hand before exiting the arena.
