Andy Bloch Eliminated

We weren't able to get the hand, but just before break Andy was down to 1,250 in chips. On the first hand after returning from break, Andy was eliminated.

Erik Seidel Doubles Up

Another late arrival for today's event, Erik Seidel, just doubled up. He hit a set of kings holding {K-Clubs}

when the flop came {K-Diamonds}

, and after all the money went in and the turn and river came the {5-Spades}

and

there was no low and his opponent missed on his straight draw. Seidel is now up to 5750.

Earlier we reported that one hundred players had already been eliminated. Apparently, that figure was off. By a lot. We're already down to 512 remaining players, meaning in just the first two levels we've lost over 200 players.

Eric Ambrosen Eliminates Allen Cunningham

All the chips went in the middle after a {A-?}

flop and Allen Cunningham holding a deuce and a four for the nut low to Eric Ambrosen's {4-?}

. But Ambrosen spiked a deuce on the turn, giving him the wheel and sending Cunningham out of the tournament. Ambrosen is up to 6,700.

Dutch Boyd Wins the Lion's Share

In a pot where five players were all in before the flop, Dutch Boyd (holding {6-Hearts}

) spiked a set of sixes on the river to win the high half of the pot and leave the low for two others to divvy up. Two other players were eliminated, and Boyd now sits with 5,700.
