Chip Jett was all in preflop holding A-A-2-K and was up against Dan Adams holding A-Q-4-J. Adams turned the nut straight and with a paired board, there was no low by the river.

Hachem Loses One

Joe Hachem called the 8,000 all in shove from Mikhail Ustinov from the big blind. Hachem held {A-Hearts}

and Ustinov held {A-Spades}

.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}

and Ustinov won the high with a straight and the low with an eight-seven low.

Hachem said afterwards, "I lose with the best hand every time."

Klaser Continues Elimination Streak

Martin Klaser eliminated yet another player after he had raised preflop to 8000 and was called by Berry Johnston and Mark Gallo. The flop ran {3-Diamonds}

and Klaser bet the pot. It was enough to cover Johnston, who called, while Gallo dropped out.

Klaser showed {A-Clubs}

for a pair of tens and second nut low draw while Johnston held {A-Spades}

for a pair of threes and the nut low draw. The turn and river brought running nines, keeping Klasers' pair of tens on top and eliminating Johnston. Klaser is now up over 220,000.

We're down to just four tables here in the Brasilia room. We have thirty six players remaining and we'll do a redraw once we reached our final twenty-seven players. We're only playing to the final table of nine, so once the redraw hits, we'll only be eliminating eighteen more before calling it a day.

It's always been said that one of the great things about poker is that anyone with the right amount of money can sit down and play with the best in the world. The WSOP makes that fact even truer than before with the wide range of buy-ins available.

Ian Graham just asked Joe Hachem if he could have a picture with him. Graham mentioned that he has played plenty of poker, but never with someone as famous as Joe Hachem. Hachem smiled in delight but we are unsure if the picture was ever actually taken.

Lance Jenkins Eliminated

Lance Jenkins was in need of a three as he was all in preflop against William Speir on a flop of {2-Clubs}

.

Lance held A-J-5-2 for two pair and Speir held A-3-2-7 for the same two pair. Speir spiked a seven on the turn for a better two pair, and then managed to hit a five on the river for a wheel.
