Mark Gallo Eliminated

Mark Gallo was eliminated after getting all his chips in the middle against John Maren preflop. Gallo showed A-A-3-5 and looked to be in great shape over Maren who held {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {J-Spades}. The board ran high, including a running flush which was enough to eliminate Gallo.

Still Lots of Folding

We've managed to lose a few of the shortstacks thus far, but for now things have slowed down a tad. With the blind structures getting bigger, players seem to be playing even tighter; being careful not to make mistakes.

Pair of Sixes for the Night's Biggest Pot

Martin Klaser raised to 28,000 from late position. Gary Hutzler made the call out of the big blind. Both players saw the flop come down {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} and check.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and Hutzler bet out 60,000. Klaser announced that he was all in and Hutzler shrugged his shoulders and made the call.

Hutzler turned over {A-Spades} {8-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {2-Spades}. Klaser rolls over {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {2-Clubs}.

The river brings the {Q-Diamonds} and no low is on board. Klaser wins the biggest pot of the night with over 300,000 in the middle with just a naked pair of sixes.

Big Crowd

There may not be a lot of big names in the field besides Erik Seidel, but the remaining two tables have been surrounded for the past hour or two with a very healthy crowd. Despite having the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event just down the hall, the crowd here is honed in on this pot-limit action.

Seidel Taking Over

Erik Seidel was cool and calm when he rolled over his hand after being all in preflop against our chip lead Martin Klaser.

Seidel: {A-Spades} {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs}
Klaser: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {2-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {10-Spades} {K-Clubs} to give Seidel the entire pot.

Seidel had 152,000 to begin the hand and now is our chip leader with 308,000.

Kadota and His Kings Go Down

Derek Kadota raised under the gun to 28,000. Michael Fetter reraised to 50,000 from middle position. After some thought, Kadota made the call.

The dealer rolled and spread {10-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for the flop. Kadota checked and Fetter moved all in. Kadota made the call.

Fetter: {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}
Kadota: {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

The turn came the {8-Diamonds}, giving Kadota a flush draw.

The river was the {7-Spades} though and Kadota would be gone as our 11th place finisher.
