Mark Seif Does Work

Men "The Master" Nguyen and Mark Seif are seated at the table, and they found themselves both all in preflop in a four-way pot. Nguyen held {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}, and Seif was on {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} with 6,900 chips in the pot. The two other players held {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} and {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} respectively.

There was no further action, so the dealer ran out the full board: {2-Spades} {10-Clubs} {3-Spades} {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}. Mark Seif caught two of his out cards, and he added a nice chunk to his stack.

Both of the unknown losing players bought back for double. On the very next hand, Mark Seif got both of them all in again for 4,000 apiece. Seif had the big ones this time, {A-Clubs} {A-Spades}. His two foes held {A-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs}. There was no help for either of them on the board of {Q-Spades} {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs}, and Seif's full house bumps him up further to 28,000 chips.

Landrum Rebuys

Sabyl Landrum raises from the hijack to 500, and the player next to her reraises to 1,500. Landrum moves all in and her opponent calls. She shows down {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs}, and is racing against {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}.

The flop comes down {7-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, and Landrum is still ahead. The turn makes her a set, {10-Diamonds}, but it also fills her opponent's straight and leaves her drawing to a board pair. The river blanks off with the {6-Spades}, and Landrum moves down to 625. She quickly buys back to 2,625.

Moto Gets Excited

Motoyuki Mabuchi was involved in a pot with two players. The flop came down {8-Clubs} {J-Spades} {6-Spades}. Moto moved all in for 3,400 and both opponents called. The turn and river were the {10-Clubs} and {9-Diamonds} respectively.

Mabuchi turned over {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}, and it was the winner. His opponents held {5-Clubs} {5-Hearts} and {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. When the win was assured, Moto jumped out of his chair and threw his arms up in the air, pumping his fists. With that win, he triples up to more than 10,000.

Tony Ma Struggling

Tony Ma just lost a preflop all in with {9-?} {9-?} versus his opponent's {8-?} {5-?}. The flop contained an {8-?}, and the turn was a {5-?}, making the two pair. When the fourth card came, Tony Ma lamented, "I can't win one hand," as he ordered more chips.

J.C. in Rebuy Mode

J.C. Tran went all in for a fresh 4,000 chips from the cutoff seat holding {2-Hearts} {4-Clubs}. The button folded, and the small blind made the call with {K-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}. The board came out {J-Clubs} {A-Clubs} {9-Spades} {6-Clubs} {K-Clubs}. Tran made a four-flush in clubs and took down the pot.

After the hand, the player on the button complained, "Floor, I have the wrong seat! I can't play between the all-in guys."

Shortly thereafter, Tran was at it again. By this time, he had chipped up to 17,000. From late position, he limped in for 100, and the small blind shoved all in for 10,000. Tran made the call, showing down {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}. His opponent held two live cards, {4-Hearts} {8-Hearts}. The board came {3-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {6-Hearts}. Again, Tran's four-flush was the winner, and he raked in another large pot.

As he was stacking his chips, Tran said, "Come on, it's rebuy! Let's play!" He is up to 33,000 in chips, and appears to be the chip leader at this early stage.

Wahlroos Doubles

Thomas Wahlroos pushed all in preflop for his remaining 4,000 chips and got one caller. The hands were tabled and Wahlroos had {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}. His opponent had {7-Spades} {7-Hearts} and the board came {J-Spades} {K-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {K-Spades} {5-Hearts} and Wahlroos' nines held up.

Wahlroos is up to 8,400.

Dannenmann Gets Active

Steve Dannenmann open raises to 200 from mid position, and that begins a series of more raises and calls behind him. When the preflop action is complete, Dannenmann ends up being all in with {K-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} versus {8-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} and {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts}.

The board runs off {6-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {2-Spades}. The pocket eights hold up, and Dannenmann orders a double shot of rebuy chips.

A short time later, he finds himself involved in another all-in pot, this time heads up. The board shows {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {5-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. Dannenmann flat calls a bet of 500 on the flop. It is checked to him on the turn, and he leads out with 1,500. His opponent check-raises him all in, and Dannenmann calls. He holds {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and doubles up against the {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} of his table mate. After dragging that pot, Dannenmann is up to 14,000.

Mark Seif's Roller Coaster

Men Nguyen and Mark Seif got together moments ago in a four-way pot. The flop came down {5-Spades} {6-Spades} {7-Spades}. The Master checked, a player behind him bet 700, and Mark Seif shoved for 1,175. After a fold from the player in the cutoff, it comes back to Nguyen, and he moves all in himself. The other opponent calls, and the hands are turned up:

Nguyen: {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}
Caller: {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}
Seif: {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}

On the turn, the {J-Spades} peels off, making Seif his nut flush and needing to dodge a repeat board card. Fifth street does blank off for him when it comes the {9-Clubs}. Mark Seif triples up with the main pot, and Men Nguyen takes the side pot with his set of sevens.

On the very next hand, Seif was knocked back down when his {6-Spades} {6-Hearts} failed to hold up against {J-Spades} {8-Spades} and {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs}. An eight on the flop sent Seif tumbling back down to 450 chips.

On the hand following that, he moved all in for those 450 chips with {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} and could not win the pot. He rebuys back up to 2,000 and will try it again.
