Mark Seif is Done

Mark Seif
Mark Seif
Phung Ngo and Mark Seif get all their chips in preflop, with Seif being the one at risk of elimination.

Ngo: {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}
Seif: {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}

The betting action is complete, so the dealer runs out the board: {K-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs}. Mark Seif fails to find a come-from-behind card, and he is eliminated a short time after having the chip lead.

Podlewski Hits the Slopes

Chris Podlewski has been eliminated by Curt Kohlberg after the two put all the chips in on a board that read {9-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs}. Podlewski turned {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} and Kohlberg had {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}.

Podlewski was ahead after the flop but it was the turn that proved to be fatal as the {Q-Spades} hit the board and the river blanked.

After stacking the pot Kohlberg has 485,000

Froehlich Takes Care of Hoang

Eric Froehlich
Eric Froehlich
Eric Froehlich has just eliminated John Hoang from the field. With the table seven-handed Froehlich pushed all in preflop with {A-Spades} {8-Spades} and Hoang called with {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}.

The flop was harmless for Hoang as it came {6-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} but the river spiked the {A-Hearts} and put Froehlich in the lead. Hoang needed a jack or a club on the river, but was unable to achieve such a feat as the {5-Spades} secured the pot for Froehlich.

Jean-Claude Perrot Eliminated in 19th Place ($18,144)

Jean-Claude Perrot - 19th Place
Jean-Claude Perrot - 19th Place
From the small blind, big stack Jamie Rosen raised enough to put small blind Jean-Claude Perrot all in. Perrot obliged him, and called with his full stack, tabling {A-Clubs} {5-Spades}. Rosen showed down {10-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}.

When you're hot, you're hot, and the flop proved that Rosen has a big stack for a reason. It dropped {6-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}, ending the hopes of Perrot right there. The turn and river were a useless {4-Spades} and {9-Hearts} respectively. Perrot will head for the cashier, where he'll pick up a check for more than $18,000.
