Iversen Grows His Chips

From under the gun, Albert Iversen puts in a raise to 31,000. Action passes around to the cutoff, where Scott Freeman makes the call. The flop comes down {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}. Iversen bets 40,000, and Freeman calls.

Fourth street is the {5-Clubs}. Iversen keeps the heat on, betting out 100,000. Again, Freeman tags along to the river.

The last card off double pairs the board with the {5-Hearts}. No slowing down now for Iversen, he fires another 210,000 at the pot. Sure enough, Freeman puts in the call. Iversen tables {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}, and Freeman throws his cards into the muck. With that win, Iversen delights his Danish fans standing nearby, and moves well up the leaderboard, now sitting near the 900,000-chip mark.
