The Dragon Slayed

David "The Dragon" Pham
David "The Dragon" Pham
David 'The Dragon' Pham was recently eliminated from the tournament under some pretty unusual circumstances.

According to Antonio Esfandiari, who was seated to Pham's right at the time, David Pham folded his big blind before he even posted it, apparently under the assumption that he was under the gun. The table quickly realized Pham's error and his cards were returned and his blind posted.

Action then folded around to Alex Miller on the button, who opened the pot for a raise. Not one to be bullied, Pham made the call holding a meager 6-8 and saw a flop of {6-?} {8-?} {A-?}. Unfortunately for Pham, Miller held pocket aces! All of the money got in on the flop and the hand resulted in Pham's ultimate demise.
