Kings Fail Pope

On a flop of {8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and 20,000 in the middle, Aaron Wilt bet 22,000. Bryan Pope asked for a count of Wilt's chips -- 87,000 -- then made the call.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}. Wilt pushed his remaining chips in, and with some apparent trepidation Pope made the call.

Wilt showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a set of eights, while Pope showed {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for the overpair. The river was the {J-Clubs}, and Wilt collected 245,000. Pope is now down to 60,000.
