Not Poker for Advanced Players

David Sklansky and Mickey Seagle were involved in a pot that went to the river. After the final round of betting, Sklansky got the low half of the pot and Seagle got the high half of the pot. As the dealer split the chips in the pot, there was one extra purple (T500) chip and one extra gray (T100) chip. The dealer threw those extra chips to Seagle and said "Give him 300," pointing at Sklansky.

This threw the entire table into confusion. "You can't do that," said Sklansky. "This is poker for laymen. You have to chop the pot in the middle." It was eventually sorted out, and Sklansky got the proper amount of chips.
