We caught up with play on the flop, the board reading {K-Hearts}

. Kido Pham bet out 30,000. Stephen Ladowsky bumped it up to 130,000, and Pham made the call.

The turn came the {7-Diamonds}

. Ladowsky moved all in for a total of 158,000 and Pham looked him up, putting in a quick call.

Pham:

Ladowsky saw that he was in trouble, needing to pick one of the non-diamond tens out of the deck to survive. No such luck though; the {6-Clubs}

peeled off on fifth street, spelling the end of Ladowsky's event. That's the bad news. The good news is that he will pick up a check for nearly $30,000 on his way out the door.

In other news, Kido Pham is rolling. With that knockout pot, he has worked up over the million mark, sitting with 1,145,000 in chips and a huge lead.

Len Ashby got his remaining chips into the pot preflop in the first hand after break. Michael Mizrachi ended up being his lone opponent, and was seeking to play the role of executioner.

, and The Grinder's small piece of that was the best. His pair of fives along with the eights on board was good enough to win him the pot, and eliminated Len Ashby in 20th place.

Dario Alioto Eliminated in 19th Place ($28,651)

Peter Jetten raised from middle position to 42,000. Dario Alioto reraised to 150,000. Jetten put in the third raise, and Alioto called all in.

Jetten:

Alioto was in pretty rough shape, up against Jetten's suited aces with a fairly ragged hand. The flop came {8-Spades}

to make top two pair for Alioto, but the turn and river came {10-Diamonds}

to make trip eights for Jetten. He dragged the pot and increased his chip count to about 860,000. Alioto took his payout slip for $28,651 and exited the Amazon Room through the side door.
