Esther Garza Eliminated

Lars Nielsen moved all in for about 80,000 and when action got to Esther Garza, she called all in blind for her last 35,000. The rest of the table passed and the players showed:

Nielsen: {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds}
Garza: {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Despite the blind call, Garza had a decent hand, and the best one at that. She came up short however as the board ran out {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Hearts} {10-Clubs}. She headed for the payout table while Nielsen chipped up to about 150,000.

Lars Sundberg Doubles Through Mimi Tran

Mimi Tran just took a big hit when she lost a big race with Lars Sundberg. The chips went in preflop and Tran's {A-?} {Q-?} failed to connect on the {10-Hearts} {9-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {J-Spades} board giving Lars Sundberg and his {8-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} the win. Tran slips to just under 80,000 chips while Sundberg works with a stack of about 180,000.

Didn't Like That Turn Card

Richard Kirsch raised to 30,000 and Corwin Cole called. The flop came {Q-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {3-Hearts} and Cole called Kirsch's 60,000 bet. The {A-Diamonds} came on the turn and both players checked. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and when Kirsch fired out a 100,000 bet Cole decided to muck. At which point Richard showed the {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} to show that Cole was wise to hit the brakes after the turn. Kirsch is up to 505,000 and Cole slipped to 485,000.

Voitto Rintala Eliminates Hans Erlandsson

From middle position Voitto Rintala raised to 31,000 and from the big blind Hans Erlandsson moved in for his last 135,000. Rintala called and his {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} was racing against Erlandsson's {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts}. A race he won when the flop came {5-Spades} {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} and Hans couldn't conjure an eight on the turn or river. Rintala is now up to 310,000.

Tim Barchie Eliminated

Tim Barchie moved all in from under the gun for 85,000. Action folded around to Cody Slaubaugh in the small blind and he pushed all in for 315,000 total. The big blind passed and the players showed:

Barchie: {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts}
Slaubaugh: {A-Clubs} {6-Hearts}

Barchie got no help from the {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {J-Spades} board and was eliminated. Slaubaugh is up to 415,000 after the hand.

Paulo Nunes Doubles Through Richard Kirsch

Richard Kirsch raised to 30,000 from the cutoff seat and Paulo Nunes moved all in for 104,000 from the big blind. Kirsch made the call and the players tabled:

Kirsch: {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}
Nunes: {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}

Nunes's sevens held on the {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} board and he doubled up to 221,000 leaving Kirsch with about 340,000.

Running Good

Matt Matros won a big hand against Dan Heimiller that didn't go to showdown and one with Anders Fraulund that did. Fraulund raised to 30,000 and Matros called in the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades} {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and Matros called Anders' 45,000 bet.

Both checked when the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn and when the {7-Diamonds} came on the river Matt bet 90,000 and Fraulund called. Matros showed {A-Spades} {6-Spades} for trips and Fraulund threw his {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} into the middle of the table. Matros now sits with 635,000 and Fraulund is down to 170,000.
