Nath Pizzolatto Goes Out

The end was sudden and swift for Nath Pizzolatto. He lost a big chunk of his stack in a hand with Matt Matros when Matt raised to 13,000 from the button and Nath moved all in from the small blind. Matros called and his pocket sevens were ahead and stayed ahead of Pizzolatto's pocket deuces. That hand doubled Matros to 176,000 and left Nath with just 37,500.

Which he lost just a few hands later when he pushed holding {A-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} and Gary Biggar called holding {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Pizzolatto couldn't spike a three and he was eliminated.
