"Oh, Cooler!"

Kyle Morris, 13,000 Chips Lighter
Kyle Morris, 13,000 Chips Lighter
Opening the pot from the hijack seat, Roger Nordgren put in a raise to 1,700. Next to act was Ivas Abrahim, and he elected to make a re-raise to 4,750. On the button, Kyle Morris had already looked at his hole cards, and he quickly announced, "All in." Nordgren seemed stunned by the news when the play came back around on him. "What's going on here?" he mumbled to nobody in particular. Reluctantly, he slid his cards into the muck.

Abrahim was the only man left, and he shot a glance over at Morris. "What, no respect, Kyle?" After a slight but noticeable pause, he made the call, tabling {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}. "Oh, cooler!" someone at the far end of the table noted, as Morris turned over his {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} (Nordgren claimed to have folded pocket queens). The board ran dry for Morris, coming {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} {5-Spades} {2-Clubs}, and relieving him of half of his chip stack. The final count for Abrahim was 12,575, and he has more than doubled up close to 30,000. After that slip up, Morris is back to right around 13,000 himself.
