Event 13 - $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Day 1 | 2009 World Series of Poker

Event #13, a $2,500 no limit hold'em tournament, will be starting today at 12pm PST. Some of the low stake events have already passed (the $1,000 and $1,500), making this the largest NLHE event of the '09 Series since the $40,000.

Last year this event attracted almost 1,400 entries, resulting in a first prize of over $665,000. Eventual winner Duncan Bell defeated a final table that included Shawn Buchanan and Nicolas Levi.

Also making a deep run in that tournament was Jason Mercier (13th), who just won his first WSOP Bracelet on Wednesday.
