Thor Hansen Eliminated in 9th Place ($9,360)

We finally got our elimination. Thor Hansen made a stand on third with split tens. Steven Stencil took a chance with {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} / {4-Spades}. It was a good bet for Stencil; he made fours full of nines by the river, leaving Hansen drawing dead.

Hansen earned $9,360 for ninth place and with that, Day 2 has ended.

Wrap It Up!

Day 2 has come to a much later than anticipated end. We had lots of star power going into this Day 2, with names like Mercier, Boyd, and Bach in the field. At the end of the day, there were eight remaining. Their seat assignments and counts for tomorrow are:

Seat 1: Jeff Lisandro (334,000)
Seat 2: Eric Pardey (217,000)
Seat 3: Nick Frangos (84,000)
Seat 4: John Juanda (287,000)
Seat 5: Mitch Schock (83,000)
Seat 6: Steven Stencil (323,000)
Seat 7: Rod Pardey (245,000)
Seat 8: Daniel Studer (43,000)

There are two name pros left -- Jeff Lisandro and John Juanda -- as well as an uncle-and-nephew team in double-bracelet winner Rod Pardey and his nephew Eric Pardey. Will success stay in the Pardey family, or will someone else win the bracelet?

Tune in at 2pm tomorrow to find out!
