Zolotow Bows Out

Steve Zolotow was crippled a few hands ago when he ran the second-nut flush into Scott Clements' nut flush. With less than 50,000 chips left now, Zolotow got all in before the flop on what would be his final hand. His nemesis, Scott Clements, was right there to put Zolotow's tournament life at risk.

Showdown
Zolotow: {A-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {4-Clubs} {7-Clubs}
Clements: {K-Clubs} {10-Spades} {4-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}

The board ran out sour for Zolotow as it came {9-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {8-Hearts}. With his two pair, eights and threes, Scott Clements delivered the final blow to Zolotow, eliminating him in 20th place, just two spots shy of the money.
